It is this kind of attention to detail we should all strive for in everything we do. The PT Wooden Boat Festival was this weekend and there were thousands of boats of all sizes here. Harbors full and barely anchor room in the bay. Some of the finest boat building art in the world from small to large. Detail work on each and everyone that was incredible.
I would go on about how this relates to photography but I believe you all get the point. I will be a little off grid this week and have some changes to talk about next week, just details.
Oh, what a lovely transition from white painted plank to varnished. If this is two pieces of plank that has been joined like this, I’m really impressed. Look also how wonderfully the top piece of the varnished parts has been patched in with the other pieces. This is extremely well done. If we are to get near as good as this in photography, the sight must be kept very high. I know, I have been grown up with wooden boats and renovated a runabout myself during my 20s, from wreck to furniture. The PT Wooden Boat Festival must have been great to visit! Just the smell… *dreaming*

Shit… I browsed on the festival and this is THE wooden boat festival in the world. You are some lucky guy living near this. Where I live nowadays, there is not much of wooden boat culture, kind of sad. (Sorry for spamming
