Been a little busy here and I had another idea all ready to post but decided to save it for after the holidays when it may make a little more sense. So here is a little bit of what all I have been putting in front of the lens.
For Me
For Katie
For Me
For work
So that is a little bit of what has been going on around here. Hope you all have a great holiday and as they say more to come soon. For an ongoing update visit the flickr stream now and then at www.flickr.com/rlketcham

Man that young lady has awesome eyes. I like both images of her. And Merry Christmas to you!
I agree Monte I think I shot 3 setups that day and about 400 frames all because of the eyes
Take care flying in this weather and have the best holiday ever.
I saw one of your photos of her already when you uploaded to flickr, and was astonished by her appearance. I have no clue what you did light-wise, but the result is like a renascence portrait (I think for instance of Rembrandt), and I love it. Dark and intense like you have used fire as light source.
Btw, I thought that it was very insightful of you to distinguish what was for her and what was for you. Being able to read what someone else would love to see (how she see herself) is a gift, and I think you possesses that. But for my personal taste, I’m most happy with that you and she took time to make images that was how you envisioned it all. I really love the first image.
You have a wonderful way with portraits, especially that first one, it’s etherial
Ove thanks for the thoughts I always try to make something for the person and something for me, what is really cool is when they turn out to be the same image.
Chris thanks my friend I love doing the stuff that starts out in my head days before I ever get to the shoot, I like it even better when it works.
