Couple of my favorite images from a shoot last Friday with Katie. We tried out a couple of new ideas and they managed to kick off a whole new set of inspiration for an upcoming shoot.
I totally agree with Chris. Although both images are good the second one has my attention.I also like the light on the door while Katie is in the spot light. Looks like a good place for several shots.
Among those from this series I saw on Flickr, I believe you selected two of my very favourites. I quite agree with the others regarding the second image, but must also say that the dramatic light and the raw concrete walls really comes through in the first one. You don’t really expect to see her in such a room, not dressed like that anyway, and that gets the mind going.
Ray, I have to say I like the first image for the feelings of vulnerability it presents. It’s not as “in your face” as the second image but for me there’s more depth of thought and feeling with the first — for me, more connection. Wonderfully done.
I look forward to you hopefully sharing results from the “upcoming shoot.”
Thanks all These were my favs for the day as well. The best part of this is it has sparked a story series that I am putting together and will shoot as soon as I get it all lined up. More always makes more if you know what I mean.
The second image is really stunning; I just love the tension between the in-focus door and the dream-like sense of her in the distance.
