Ray Ketcham is pleased to announce a photography workshop with Stuart Sipahigil, photographer and Craft and Vision author of the popular eBook Close to Home: Finding Great Photographs in Your Own Back Yard.

Join Ray and Stuart from September 29 to October 1, 2011, right here in Port Townsend where they’ll work together with you to hone your observational skills and photographic vision to think more deeply about the pictures you make. The timing couldn’t be better as Port Townsend will be having their annual Kinetic Sculpture Race the same weekend and there will be plenty of opportunities to make great photographs.

Registration fee for the workshop is $299, and if you register  and pay before September 2, 2011 you will receive a 10% discount, making the fee only $269 for the 2-1/2 day workshop.

For more details about the workshop, please visit the Close to Home Workshop website.

P.S. This year I will be leading the Kelby World Wide Photo Walk in Port Townsend on Oct 2nd, the day after the Close to Home Workshop. Information on the Port Townsend walk and the list of potential prizes are at the WWPW sign-up page here. We will have a great time and a chance to connect with photographers from all parts of the PNW. Rumor has it Stuart Sipahigil will be there. Hope to see you too!
